February Full Moon Greetings

Here in the San Francisco Bay Area, we are deluged with rain. This kind of wet weather is an opportunity. It's a reminder that the abundance of life sometimes appears in ways that make us uncomfortable.

The rain is the soil's nourishment, the body's hydration. It is a precious substance that falls freely from the skies. Rain replenishes our reservoirs and causes the Earth's bounty to flourish. It's fantastic!

And yet rain makes many of us grumpy. Soaked clothes and soggy toes are just no fun. But fresh fruit is made possible by the same downpour. Ah, the paradox of Life on Earth.

The parallel paradox for personal abundance is this: When the abundance we crave flows into our lives it can feel overwhelming, even downright messy.

If, for example, your business has been parched from the drought of under-activity, when the calls start coming in, or you find yourself with a ton of tasks to handle, things can get a little muddy.

Just remember, the same outpouring that makes you yearn for a cozy, warm bed is exactly what your ecosystem has been thirsting for. So put on your metaphoric galoshes and get out the rain barrel. Chances are you've slept enough already.

There's a saying: "There's no such thing as bad weather. Just the wrong clothes." If there's an outpouring of personal abundance in your life right now that just makes you feel cold and damp, take a moment to appreciate what it will do for your metaphoric crops. It's going to be a bumper year!
