Leaning into Yes


Being clear about who you are and what’s important to you — and saying yes to that over and over — delivers a de facto no to those things that distract you from your purpose. 

If you’re having a hard time saying no to others’ demands and desires that are incongruent with your own, the muscles to develop are not your no muscles. The muscles to develop are your values-centered yes muscles.

Turn your attention within. Keep saying yes to your inner awareness, your desires, your goals and your heart. When you’re a firm yes to the guidance that’s inside you, everything else falls in line.
