Some of you are familiar with the astrological concept of "Mercury Retrograde." For those who are not, this is an astrological cycle that happens about three times a year, during which communications, technologies, and travels often go awry.
I personally think of the Mercury Retrograde cycle as a positive thing -- a time to revisit, reconsider, re-evaluate, revise. And rarely are my communications and resources troubled during this period. But this Mercury Retrograde, which began on August 2 and ended on August 26 -- well, it was a traffic jam of miscommunication and technology mishaps in my world.
One thing you might have noticed is that I normally send my e-newsletter on the full moon. My mid-month misadventures, smack in the middle of Mercury retrograde, advised me to lay low and restart my monthly missives on today's post-retrograde new moon.
The new moon is a time for fresh starts, new beginnings. To honor this energy, I'd like to share one of the cards from my soon-to-be-released Wisdom Oracle mobile app.
